Neil's mom and dad were in a very bad car wreck yesterday. They were driving to Pocatello when a tire blew outside of McCammon. Mom over corrected and the truck they were in rolled. Mom was driving and was ejected through the drivers side window. Dad was in the passenger seat. They were not wearing their seatbelts. Mom has a broken femur, broken ankle, broken collar bone. She had some internal bleeding, which they were able to stop. She was lifeflighted from Idaho to the U. Dad is still in the Portneuf Hospital in Poctaello. He broke his ribs, and they are worried about some kidney damage. If all is well with him he should be released today, and his son Kenny will be driving him back here. Mom will be in surgery today for 8 hours to repair all the broken bones and anything else that may be wrong. We were able to see her for a few minutes at a 2:00 am. She was in and out of consciousness. She did recognize Neil, Roy, and Bobbette. She kept asking were Dad was. We will know more today. I will keep my blog updated with info. as often as I can. I'm attaching a picture of the truck and the newsreport from Channel 3 news in Pocatello.
McCammon Rollover Sends Two To Hospital

MCCAMMON - A rollover accident sends two people to the hospital Sunday morning.
Fifty-seven old Doris Christiansen and 76-year old Carol Christiansen were driving north on I-15 when a tire went flat causing their truck to roll just after 11:30 am Sunday. Both were taken to the Portneuf Medical Center.
Corporal Chris Williams, with Idaho State Police says, "The female driver was transported by LifeFlight to the hospital. The male passenger was transported by ambulance to the hospital."
Doris was ejected from the car, and is now at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT in critical condition. Carol is still at PMC in stable condition.
Investigators say neither was wearing a seatbelt. They are both from Utah.
